What’s going on in Ontario between Pink Whitney and the LCBO? It’s been months since the release of the Pink Whitney and it’s still not in Ontario Liquor Stores.
The cult like following over at Barstool Sports and the Spittin’ Chiclets Podcast has been purchasing the pink coloured New Amsterdam Vodka drink for months. The drink which has captivated hockey enthusiasts across North America is still MIA in Ontario.
With the explosive popularity of the drink we can only wonder why the LCBO hasn’t allowed the drink on its shelves. This problem for Ontario residents who love the podcast is becoming a bit cumbersome.
Pink Whitney, which is a pink lemonade flavoured vodka drink has been flying off the shelves in other parts of the country with ease. People are buying this stuff by the case. Yet in Ontario the residence are being treated as if they aren’t responsible enough to handle the popular drink.
New Years Eve is without a doubt the biggest drunk fest of the year and Ontarians missed out on one of the most popular and viral drinks of the year. Fans of the podcast in Ontario want a taste of the Pink Whitney vodka drink.
Since the LCBO, which controls the liquor distribution in the province of Ontario, is an extension of the provincial government, it may be time for hockey fans to email the Ontario Premier and his MPP’s.
The LCBO is appearing more and more to be a draconian faction of the government. With the current prohibition of Pink Whitney sales in Ontario it may be time to revisit the privatization of the corporation.
If you are like the thousands upon thousands of Ontario residents that want to have access to Pink Whitney then you can find the Premier’s email address below.
