The NHL Playoffs picture becoming clearer today with a double overtime win by the Blues last night. The St. Louis Blues dominated the Dallas Stars in game 7 last night.
The Western Conference Semi-Finals need a 7 game series to decide a winner. The game 7 didn’t disappoint with double overtime game winner coming from the Blues Pat Maroon.
Maroon who signed a home town discount on his contract didn’t disappoint. The 3rd liner made a big mark by netting his second game winner of the series.

The Blues are now the 3rd team to punch their ticket into the 3rd round of this years NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. With this, the NHL Playoff picture becomes a lot clearer.
Earlier this week the Boston Bruins had an amazing game 6 that eliminated the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Blue Jackets put up a valiant effort but ran into a stellar Tuukka Rask.
Rask finished that series with a unbelievable .948 save percentage and posted his sixth career playoff shutout.
The Boston Bruins will meet up with “The Jerks” of Carolina later this week.
Carolina easily disposed of the New York Islanders in a 4 game sweep. The unexpected glory of the Hurricanes comes off of a stellar performance in round 1.
The Hurricanes eliminated the Washington Capitals in 7 games and kept the momentum rolling.
We will see how they match up against Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals. The winner will be the Eastern representative in the Stanley Cup Finals.
The last matchup goes tonight as the Colorado Avalanche force game 7. The San Jose Sharks are no slouch and playing in the Shark Tank will be a tough test for this Colorado team.
The Sharks battled back in round 1 against the Golden Knights. They were down 3-1 in the series and found the fortune in game 7.
As for the Avalanche they knocked off the Western Conference Number 1 seed the Calgary Flames in 5 games.
These 2 teams are set for game 7 and the winner will face the St. Louis Blues. This should be a very good game.
Should the Sharks win they will have home ice for the Conference Finals. If the Avs win they will concede home ice to the St.Louis Blues. The Blues has home ice against the Stars but haven’t played stellar at home.
This NHL Playoffs Picture is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
