John Daly responds to Tiger over use of golf cart at PGA Championship earlier this year. A Golf Digest article from earlier this year went into further details about the situation.
The golfing legend known as John Daly is not in as good of health as he would like to be.
Golf Digest recently noted the 53 year old who has a life time exemption because of his 1991 PGA Championship didn’t appreciate the jabs taken at him.
“Osteoarthritis is a tough thing, brother. If my knee was broke, I would have had it fixed. But my situation is totally different. It’s painful as hell is all I can say. As was Tiger’s, I’m sure.”

John Daly has been known to be a massive driver with success on the PGA Tour. Daly has won an astounding 18 professional golf wins.
John Daly also sits in 182 on the PGA Tour Career Money List. His PGA Tour Career Money List amount is estimated at a whopping $10,263,611.
John Daly’s success includes a PGA Championship in 1991, B.C. Open in 1992, BellSouth Classic in 1994, The Open Championship in 1995 and the Buik Invitational in 2004.
His wins aren’t isolated to just North America. Daly has also had victories in Europe and Asia.
Daly has had some pretty unique controversies over his golfing tenure. One time during a 1998 PGA Tour stop at the Bay Hill Initational he refused to change clubs.
Daly attempted to clear a water hazard 6 times from about 270 yards away, with a 3 wood. It was only after his lucky number 7th attempt that he was able to clear the hazard.
Another time in 2008 at the Australian Open he broke a spectators camera. This prompted Golf Australia to hand out disciplinary action.
Daly has been a much loved unique character on the tour over the years. He is truly a golfing legend in more ways than one.
